Collection: Shoes for Bunions

With a bunion the trouble almost always starts in the same place: a shoe too narrow at the front, pressing straight onto the joint. This selection starts from the opposite premise. Wide forefoot, soft upper, and above all no stiff seam running across the bump.

We favoured materials that soften as you walk and follow the shape of the foot instead of fighting it. The sole stays flexible so the foot can roll through the step, and most pairs close with velcro or elastic, which leaves room on the days the foot swells.

These are not corrective shoes — an established bunion is a matter for a podiatrist. But day to day, wearing a pair that does not squeeze the wrong side is often enough to take the evening pain away. And they look nothing like orthopaedic footwear: flats, trainers, derbies, shapes you put on without thinking about them.

Between two sizes, take the larger: better a little room in front of the toes than pressure on the bunion. Free shipping over €35, exchange or return within 30 days.

In summer, the same wide-fit logic applies to the orthopaedic sandals. The rest of the range is in the comfort shoes.
